Busting success 3 months and counting
Dec 23rd, 2010 at 2:37pm

Merry xmas all,
Just thought I'd share my success with psilocybin mushrooms. I haven't had even a shadow since I started using them. I've only used 4 doses and maybe 7 grams in total. The first time I took 1/4-1/2 gram every 2 hours until I took 1.5 Grams total. I'm 200 lbs, and I didn't "trip" at all really, yet I still got results.

The day after you dose, you get a weird shadow/CH, but that is a sign it worked, and a small detail. One "successful" result is far from conclusive evidence, but I can tell the beast is gone. I usually have faint shadows almost constantly while in cycle, and I don't have the slightest tinge.

If your like I was and "undecided" and reluctant to try them, I'd advise you to try them. I suggest taking small doses in quick succession if your anxious about the effects/trip. Try to take them while your relatively stress free, and use your media players visualizations to enjoy the ride. lol

Feel free to ask me for details. Its depressing their contraband, cause I feel like mailing everyone an xmas gift that keeps on giving, & then some. With a 4 month old baby, its a glorious gift to be PF.

Happy Holidays

In my younger and wilder days i used both forms (shrooms @ lsd ) just for laughs. just a recreation thing and i grew up and away from it. I have read alot about its potential use today and why it may work.  I think it allows the user to relax and thus your nerves and muscles that get so bound up after many ch's relax. The problem with traditional meds is that they provide no real relief either physical or mental. no matter what meds i used in past i could not relax. If busting is what it takes to get the mind and body to relax then i may reconsider it if things get worse again.

This may be a positive side-effect, but it is not at all how the mechanism works.

one of the reasons i have not tried this yet is because of the lack of real proof that it would work and i would not recommend there use to anyone.  What i find interesting about this subject is that we our willing to use meds that have a huge list of bad side effects and take them till we get even more sick but were not allowed to try something that is so crazy it just might work.

What Brew said......clusterbusters.com has many many answers, and loads of real life experience. Going there first will prevent making a lot of the mistakes these people went through in establishing the current protocol.

You won't get that proof from the medical/scientific community. Make yourself a nice big cup of coffee, sit down for a couple of hours, and read the following thread. I don't know what other proof you need. But don't be discouraging newcomers.

I'm not trying to discourage or encourage anyone Brew. i was saying i used them before and i still got ch but i was not using them at that time for the sole purpose of  a ch alternative med.  I was trying to say the proof is only relative to the user like any other medicine which seems to be a lack of real proof for me and that i would consider trying them for the sole purpose of a ch alternative med if the lithium i am on now stops working. i myself have tried it all already and now i am looking into more alternatives.

If using an alternative doesn't present a philosophical dilemma for you, why would you want to take something with potentially toxic side effects several times a day when you could take something created only by God himself once every six months or so - and at sub-hallucinogenic dosages?

Just something to ask yourself.

I am totally with you on that these meds we use are toxic. the alternatives are promising. i discovered only 2 years ago about the alternatives potential. I just started using lithium at that time and it works. if it ain't broke don't fix it right?  my dilemma is the same as its always been, no one and i mean no one understands Ch's like another ch so when i try to explain anything to anyone  other than Ch's, i get the  same result.  acceptance is futile!

I long ago gave up trying to explain my headaches to a non CH'er.....excepting for my wife who has always been my best supporter Smiley ......it's a waste of time and I always end up sounding like a whiner to myself! Grin And worse is the "helpful" advice they always give...try not to be so stressed out, get more rest, go to my chiropractor, ....it's all you can do to not punch them in their well meaning nose!!!

But yeah, here....you never have to start out trying to explain how bad they are, and how much they can screw up the simple everyday things, like being a dad or a husband. We get it, for me, it's always been the best part of the board.

If I may pipe in here, I would like to try to clear up one misconception about using the "alternative" methods.

I don't care if you "used" back in the good old days.  You "used" to get high and have a good time.  If you are honest, you will admit this.

Using "alternative meds", such as shrooms, seeds, etc to help with CH requires very small doses - sub-hallucinogenic - no tripping, so don't plan on getting happy - won't happen.

And guess what, they are being shown to actually work!  So, if you follow the dosing recommendations, you will not trip but you just may find, not a cure by any means, but relief from your pain.

I use rc seeds, and have been pain free for over four years.  I'm not cured, but it sure is a better life than I had before.

Great news on the busting success!!  I'm dosing again tomorrow night for good measure.  I'm still amazed that everytime the beast rears his ugly head all I have to do is dose with RC seeds a few times and I'm back to being pf!!
