Tell a man that there are 300 billion stars in the galaxy, and he'll believe you. Then tell that man that the bench beside him has wet paint on it and he'll touch it

When tempted to fight fire with fire, remember that the fire department usually uses water.

Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy but socially dead.

The facts, although interesting, are irrelevant.

The more you run over a dead cat, the flatter it gets.

Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious.

Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

We occasionally stumble over the truth,
but most of us pick ourselves up and hurry on as if nothing happened.

The best things in life aren't things.

And finally:  The weak can't forgive. Forgiveness is an attribute of the strong.

Just a few things to ponder as you go about the hustle and bustle of the season.

"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of dung by the clean end." Texas A&M Student (unknown)
