Another strong vote here for oxygen as I kill my CHs in 6-8 minutes, which is life changing from the situation before I had it.

Mark, I guess I like the crone better than the fat guy. I guess.

V.A. I agree completely with what you've been given on this thread and others. O2; it's the best. Blessings. lance

Do read the oxygen info link,

It is completely changing how people view their CH. I feel the tension in the right side of my head, the eye lid starts to droop and the pain starts. I start huffing oxygen, 6-8 minutes later I'm completely pain free.

Personally I've used the high hflow 100% O2 as a first line abortive, sumatriptan shot as a backup in case the O2 is inaccessible or doesn't work. The results were excellent.

If you haven't seen it yet, the imitrex tip Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register is some extremely helpful info for anyone using sumatriptan injections (it enables you to stretch doses mightily).

More and more of us (especially ones who can't break a cycle) are gravitating towards "busting" as a preventative lately - here's a good, recommended Newsweek article on the subject of busting and CH:

CH according to Bejeeber:

Strictly relying on doctors for CH treatment is often a prescription that will keep you in a whole lot of PAIN. Doctors are WAY behind in many respects, and they are usually completely unaware of the benefits of high flow 100% O2.

There are lots of effective treatments documented at this site. Take matters into your own hands, learn as much as you can here and at clusterbusters.com, put it into practice, then tell this CH beast Jeebs said hello right before you bash him so hard with a swift uppercut knockout punch that his stupid horns go flinging right off.
