Interesting research linking the body clock to something that has gone through about a billion years of evolution. In that time the length of a day has increased due to interactions between the earth and the moon relating to tidal breaking (Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register). 600 million years ago a day was only about 22 hours long, so this mechanism has evolved to match this change.
