Reply #8 - Feb 5^th, 2011 at 11:55am ciggs are a problem for me. ive been trying soooo hard to quit but its hard. especially working in a kitchen. believe me.....i hate smoking. i think its the most disgusting habit one could have. and it cost me $150/mo or more. ive cut back to half a pack a day in the past 2 weeks....im tryn!

yeah i like the new me too. ive NEVER been clean, well that i can remember. and im want to quit smoking. thats next on my list! other than these fucking HA i guess im doing ok. having 5-7 hits a day is just ridiculous!!! im getting to my breaking point but im tryn to stay strong hoping it will end soon. if this cycle is like the ones of the past i should have only 2 or 3 weeks left. only difference is im not doped up. hope that doesnt play a part in all this. we shall see.

Chantic has very nasty side-effects. I thought about going on it til I talked to 2 people from right here who have said DON'T do it. Both of them had to get off it real quick. The side-effects were uncontrollable anger, vivid scarey dreams and thoughts of suicide.

If you're serious about getting off cigarettes...at least try the patches as well as some kind of therapy.

i think im gonna try the patches. i guess if ive got the will power to quit heroin, alcohol and all other drugs then i guess with some will power and a lil help from some patches i CAN do it. im a pretty strong person from what i hear so im thinking i can do this!!! just another obstacle to over come. just one question......will tryn to quit in the middle of a cycle make the hits worse? ive read that sudden changes in life style can make em worse.
