The guest book

Has anyone been there lately?  I think some of them will break your heart.  Most people who post there NEVER come here to post.

Jackie and I regularly check the guest book and at least 3 times per week,  e-mail those who seem to need support OR have misconceptions that I try to help with.

If any of you who have found help here,  have some extra time, why not go there and pick someone, e-mail them and offer to help or just listen to them.

THIS, is just one short example:

I am a rookie with this, was diagnosed on Mon 25th & trying different meds to find what works, have met the Beast nightly for 5 weeks. and would appreciate knowing more about the triggers as I work thru the meds.Anything to get some relief until the meds start working. Thanks Stan in Katy.

Hi Linda
I go there a couple of times a week looking for those south of the equator ( a little closer to home) & help were I can.
And yes they may not come to the board but we may have helped in some way.

Cheers
Barry

Thanks guys...even if we duplicate our efforts it doesn't matter at all.  Like I said, in the years I've been doing this I don't tremember even ONE person also posting here.  Sometimes some folks do not like to post in a public forum.  They prefer a one -on-one conversation.

BTW...someone reminded me of this.  The" Guest book"  is a seperate link to the left of here.  Fifth under the 02 link in yellow.

Good reminder, Linda--and I needed it.  I haven't been following the postings there as much as I should.  Thank you.

The folks posting to the guest book are part of this family too.  They just haven't met us yet.   Smiley

Best,

George

Thanks Linda.

It has been awhile. I hadn't been hit in 9 years when I found the place just surfing around. I was a mess by the time I read a lot of the GB back then.

Christy, there's no need to feel guilty.  Really.   The guest book is to the left of here (links) 5th. link under Oxygen info.

Linda, I am ashamed of myself.  I used to go to the guest book at least 3 to 4 times a month.  Then, thank God, I became pain free over four years ago.

I still come here and am very much involved with OUCH, but I had forgotten the guest book.

No longer!

Thank you for the kick in my butt!  I deserved it.

Sandy
