Mar 5th, 2011 at 3:38pm

Hello all after what seems like an age, hope the sun's shining.  Smiley
I'm well thankyou apart from developing COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), however good medication and stopping smoking on the 1st/ 03/ 2011 have improved things.

Still CH free thankfully.  Smiley

I saw this while scanning hope it's helpful,

Interesting!  I'm not behind on my mortgage, but if I was I'd sure be looking at this.

That was very interesting!

I'm not behind in my mortgage either, BUT - we all know that in a blink of an eye, this could happen to any of us.

I am now self-employed, earning less than half of what I earned in 2008.  My husband is on social security.  Money is extremely tight.

We can't sell our home, nor re-finance it.  Because of the real estate bubble bursting, our home would probably appraise for less than we owe on it - we are underwater.  We bought our house in 2001 and re-financed in 2005 - none of our mortgages were the "sub-prime" variety - yet we are vulnerable.

Maybe all homeowners should thoroughly research exactly who owns their property and exactly who has the right to begin foreclosure right now - before the unthinkable thing happens.  Wonder how we begin doing this???

Nor do I, but it does seem to time to question the banks.
This is what we have here, it's a start.
