Current weather forecast for Friday:

"A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92. Calm wind becoming south southeast around 5 mph."

Sorry folks - that's not the best possible weather, I tried to order up something milder. Shocked

Could be worse though - and it is today.

For those who are in conferences during the day then hitting the town at night, this might not be so bad, as any storms will hopefully be in and out quickly, and personally, for some unknown reason, on the rare occasions when I've hit downtown, I've kinda enjoyed that hot summer night aspect to the proceedings. Cool

Don't bother packing any sweaters - unless it gets cold inside the hotel or something.

Right now at 6:30 PM it's 92 degrees with a heat index of 104 degrees due to the extreme humidity. This ain't no San Diego 92 degrees Cheesy

. And I see Friday's forecast looks about the same now - it's been revised up to 95 degrees. Cool
