Just saying hi, and navigating around the site...
Had CH's for over a decade, maybe more - went undiagnosed for years, but have it under control with imigran and o2 now (as much as one can have them under control, I guess).
Gods, it's good to know you're all out there, and you're all coping somehow  Smiley

Hi Gillian

It sounds like you've got your CH abortives but do you have any preventives? Something like verapamil or lithium to cut down on how many CHs you get?

In another thread you mentioned you're 4 weeks into a cluster. A prednisione taper might also help whilst the other preventive gets to an effective level, typically starting at around 60mg and then tapering off over about 10 days or so.

Hopefully your cluster will be over soon.
