Icecubes in drinks are dangerous

Vodka and ice destroy the kidney
Rum and ice destroy the liver
Whiskey and ice destroy the heart
Gin and ice destroy the brain.

Sure seems that the ice is dangerous folks   Grin Grin Grin Grin

It's not the ice per say, it's the di-hydrogen monoxide contained in the cubes that will kill you almost instantly!

The government has vast underground storage tanks filled with the stuff, and it's so potent it can cause corrosion on almost any metal!  Breathing it will kill you in a matter of minutes.

Nasty stuff, that di-hydrogen monoxide!

I would say that's pretty conclusive evidence, Svenn.  Wink

It's not so bad if you use fresh ice but all we can get is the frozen stuff.

yer nuts, bri.    Grin

Always used to drink safely, room temperature and don't bother with a glass.  That's how that ice gets slipped in.

None of the ice we get is natural, it's all artifically made.

So just stick to having the whisky, rum or whatever else by itself.

I'm sold -- no more ice in my drinks... straight stuff from now on...  Smiley

And a BIG thank you to Svenn for doing the research on this ... nothing like education is there?

Someone needs to represent to OTHER  ice...the csafe and sane variety....NONE of those cdrinks included shaved or crushed ice. These are the processed versions of ice, whereby all the toxins have been shaved off!
I highly doubt there are any among you who would consider the following life threatening:
Margaritas
Srawberry Margaritas
Midori Margaritas
Mudslides
Rum Runners
Berry Bellinis
Electric Lemonade
....and more..
I think I have proven MY point, as well.....stay with the processed ice.. it's safe, and soo nice in the summertime!
Consider this a safety warning!
