Proud Dad

I brag on my sons periodically, but today I want to brag about my youngest, Sarah.  We just returned from a week long trip to SC.  I drove a bus load of kids from our school, Marquette Manor Baptist Academy because our band won the IL Association of Christian Schools competition, along with a number of other individual categories.  We went down to Bob Jones University for the National competition.  Sarah and her band WON!!!  They did an awesome job, and I couldn't be prouder!  I know Sarah is not the reason for their winning, but they couldn't have done it without her either.  Cool

Yes, Sarah IS the reason for their winning. Along with every other kid in the band.

Don't sell any individual in the group short - every single one of them is responsible for their victory!

As is their bus driver. Wink

Hold your heads high and revel in the win! And give her an extra big hug from me - the guy who thinks you can't have enough music in your life.

They played "Shannon Lake" by Brant Karrick and "Regal Fanfare" by Richard Saucedo.
