Doctors without borders

I thought about placing this down below, but decided against it.  I wanted everyone to see this and not get lost.
This is a wonderful way to help a VERY worthy cause while at the same time getting a beautiful piece of art-work for yourself or to give to someone.  I've bid on a piece to give to my daughter and hopefully no one will out-bid me.   Wink

Pat (mosaic wench) donates a piece of her work at the conventions and her work is bidded on furiously.  All the money recieved.. going to OUCH.

This forum is just as worthwhile. When you look at the work entailed in every single piece here I think you'll agree the opening bids are very reasonable. Just take a look at all the different catagories in the links to the left.   WOW!

Thanks for promoting this, Linda.  It is indeed, a worthy cause, and the art is from 123 different mosaic artists worldwide.

There are some steals to be had and some great artwork to enjoy. Smiley

(Hint: If you can get an Irit Levy for less than a couple hundred bucks, you would be making a very wise investment.)

There's only a few days left to bid before the auction closes.   Wink

There's another worthy csause I'd like to bring your attention to.  Since these are both time sensitive and not an on-going business like those down below like Jayne's Ins. or Stephanies cookies I'm puttting them here.

Elaine is one of the founding fathe...uh...mothers of OUCH.  She's a long-time sufferer as well as a long time supporter of OUCH as well as ch.com.  She is home-schooling her Grandson JD and they need our help.   Go to:  Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register;    if you'd like to help a fellow sufferer.

To all who bid, I thank you on behalf of the Auction.  It closed today and raised over $20,000 for Doctors without Borders.

I'm proud to have been a part of it.
