Everyone in the area is safe as far as I know. St. Louis Airport is closed indefinately. Some areas in Granite City, Il had some damage and the Bridgeton area along 270 in St. Louis had some major damage. These storms need to stop! Flooding is now a major concern.

My daughter, Katie, always freaks out during storms. While she is in the basement (coming up only to yell at us), John and I are outside watching and listening. It looked like we were in the direct path, but the storm went north of us. I did get some cool video of the light show.
