Love this place

I know it's not the place for this but this site seems to be where I'm supposed to communicate.

Facebook is almost impossible for me to use. It takes 45 minutes for me to look at a few lines and as long or longer to post a couple replies. I don't get it. Has anyone else experienced such a thing? It's beyond frustrating.

Anyway, I just wanted to say this and that this place never lets me down....in every sense.

I don't know why you're having those sorts of problems with facebook, Charlie. Never mind that I think facebook is a clunky, amateurish, cobbled-together mess that will disappear as soon as something better comes along, at which time it will go the way of Friendster and Myspace--but that's JMO.

I still find myself spending most my time online here at CH.com, moseying around and thinking about what people have to say, even if I don't say anything myself most of the time.

Thanks to allayuz for da support. I don't know what I'd do without some stimuli from this place. I need all the stimulating I can get at my age. Every time I open my mail it's full of Medicare information.

I apprecicate the facebook remarks. I tend to agree with you that it's pretty thin most of the time. I wish my local historical stuff wasn't connected to it. I can't even click off easily.
