I've seen them be so very territorial no other bird is allowed near. And when it's a male guarding the post, only his favorites are allowed in. Thanks for the pix. lance

Reply #4 - May 24^th, 2011 at 4:13pm We've been having some yellow & Black bird trying to land on ours too. There were 2 the other day. One was sitting on my window pane while the other was trying to get into the feeder. I haven't stopped to look up what kind of bird it may be, has kind of a squared off tail feather.
