Not New. Back at Home.
Jun 13th, 2011 at 2:09pm

Hello all. I have been about a year and 3 months ch free. About 2 weeks ago i got a promotion at work and the beast returned almost immediately. I have been checking in on the board off and on but now I'm back. My one big question is: can changes in sleep patterns/schedule effect CH. I did go from night shift back to days. As with my last cycle, vice versa- days to nights. Thought it might not be coincidental that my hours changed and a cycle started.

For me sleep disruptions never started a cycle. But on cycle, going from days to night shift, or nights to days, wreaked havoc with the beast and really made me pay. Good to see you again Funk, sorry beasty is back. Cry

"Somebody had to say it" is usually a piss poor excuse to be mean.

I had only experienced a hit here and the recently until the shift changed completely. Then all hell broke loose. I am am actually a manager now so my hours sometimes vary. I had to leave work last night after only 3 hours. And this is this first work time I've missed in well over a year(which in itself is quite an accomplishment). But it's good to be back home and know that I am not alone. Have already gotten some good new info about the fish oil and D-3 that I am going to star on tomorrow.

Much luv and PD wishes

I'm sure the switch from one shift to another did put some stress on your body until you adjusted, or will until said adjustment settles in. And as we all know, stress can be a trigger. If you haven't been checking in while pf, there are some developments that show promise. Enjoy reading while you beat back the beast. Welcome back. Blessings. lance

The one cool thing about this recent promotion is that while it brings a little more responsibilities my way it also brings less stress. I was the supervisor in charge of unloading the Walmart trucks before. Now I am that person's boss. While before, I wore steel toes and jeans, now I wear shirt and ties. Much less physically demanding and now I set the time schedule for them so i stress them out not vice versa. I'm not saying I have no stress, but less than before.
I have over the last few days spent numerous hours reading up on here about new stuff to try and am always up for the opportunity to squash the beast naturally rather than by prescription. Thanks to all.
