Herbed pork loin (on the grill)

Potato, onion, mushroom, garlic, butter in foil packets

Roasted corn on the cob (on the grill)

Romaine & spinach salad with red onion, cucumber, peach slices, blackberries, raspberries and feta cheese (not on the grill)

Klondike Bars for dessert ( not on the grill) (I don't DO desserts)

It's Father's Day, and also Tarey's birthday today so we're having a nice meal.  Plus, not pots and pans to wash for me!!!

I don't know.

El's making dinner, and she won't tell me what it is.

Best,

George

Went to Mom's house today and she she made a hell of a Carbenarra. Not 100% sure  I got the spelling right on that, and she'd probably kill me being Italian and all that. Regardless, it was incredible and I've got mor for tomorrow. Mmmmmm. Wink

One of my daughters surprised me with 2lb Maine lobsters, while another of my daughters made linguine and clams with garlic and butter on Friday. Another has promised rib eyes on the barbie for a night later this week. It's good to be blessed with so many daughters who know how to cook. lance

BTW think I'll pass on the whale steak, though. My loss, I'm sure.

Went to the store and picked up a couple NY’s on Sunday to cook for Nancy’s birthday yesterday and while I was there looked at all the pre-done marinades, I noticed a Jack Daniels one that is in a zipper lock bag and decided to give it a try. Tossed the steaks in when we got home and pulled them out 24 hours later and tossed them on the Q and I have to say I would have been happy in a fine restaurant ordering and getting one of these steaks for dinner and paying $30 for it, it really was great and recommended trying it if you see it in the store. A friend up in Napa also gave us some home grown potatoes but they had these ones that were purple and I had never seen them before even the inside was purple but they tasted good. lol
