No way of telling, sorry. Some people have rigidly fixed cycles, others which never fall into a pattern. Just no test or signs to tell us.

Some say their "shadows" are a signal for them; others mention a fog-like feeling, something like a light cloth resting on our heads, which signal a change coming.

But not worth fretting about it--as long as you have a good treatment plan ready to put into action.

Can you tell us what you've done about the headaches for 7 years?   Were you diagnosed by a competant Doctor?  What treatment plan were you on?  What worked/what didn't?

Like Bob Johnson has said...there is no sure-fire way of knowing anything about when a cycle is ending.   Well, except that when you haven't been hit for a while it's a pretty good indication your cycle is over.

Mauricio,
Like the posts before, no actual way of telling.  I am one of the lucky ones in that I get hit only every 4 years.  Had my last cycle last May.  I have had them for about 23 years now.  I started a log over the past two cycles to see if there was any similarities.  I don't know how often you get them but a log may be helpful for the future something you can refer back to.  Sometimes they just stop, but the last cycle I had shadows linger for about a month with no pain greater than a 1 or a 2 then they finally went away.

Hope this helps.  But I can tell you there are plenty of good people on this site willing to help and answer whatever questions they can.

Mine started at 18. The Navy thought I was faking to get hardcore pain killers. But that was 30 years ago. My cycles start slow 1 hit a night growing to 6-8 or more hits a day finally 1 big hit that O2 won't stop and a trip to the E-room for them to knock me out then they are gone for a while. 1 year PF this month.  I live in a rather small town and the hospital knows me and my headaches and will treat me accordingly. Good luck I will pray that your cycle ends, WE ARE WITH YOU
