Imitrex diagnosis
Jul 12th, 2011 at 1:55am

Not to bang on here but Imitrex does not cross the BBB i.e. it does not enter the brain at all so it has no action in the brain what so ever. Niether on the intra cranial arteries nor on the 5HT synapses nor on the hippopotimous.

It's a powerful vaso constrictor that doesn't enter the brain.

The arteries it does seriously constrict are....

Good luck and keep up the good work

Peace

For everyones edification, Danny's dad runs a clinic in SO. Africa that cures CH with the use of a mouthpiece.  Danny is in charge of drumming up new business for the clinic.  He's a fun guy though.

Hmm Vaso=vascular and you do have vaso's in your brain there for a vaso constrictor would enter the brain and affect the vaso's in your brain.   Cheesy

My son A Neuro biology major wanted me to add
Hippocampus is the correct spelling and the metabolites from imitrex enter through the blood stream which then enters the brain which in-turn produces the affects on the receptors.

His girlfriend wanted me to add the correct spelling of hippopotamus which is a river dwelling animal also known as a river horse.

Hey dannyboy. Long time no see.
Are you still offering the free trip to your fathers clinic for the cure of our problem?  If you are, let me know. I'll email my ss# and bank account number so we can set up the airline tickets.
Please let me know soon. I really, really need something to do this weekend. My wife wants to move to Utah Saturday.
