I'm chris and its nice to find a site like this so full of people with this disability. I look forward to finding out if any alternative and natural methods of dealing with this. Right now I am spending over 100$ in prescriptions a month. There HAS to be another way to deal with this homeopathically.

The only exception I would take with your greeting is that many of us would not call it a disability. It is an affliction, and it can be dealt with.

Welcome to the board Chris! Do check out the clusterbusters site. They are cranking out some pretty impressive success stories.

Then read this link. If you're not already using oxygen, or even if you are, read this link to make sure you're getting the maximum benefit from it.

Glad you found us Chris, welcome home! Wink

Hi Chris & Welcome to Clusterville

DO check out the links posted above.

. . . and what kinds of meds are you spending your $$$ on?  Pain meds are useless for CH.

Make sure you read the "oxygen info" link (on left).  Is a miracle abortive for most of us.

Read, read, read . . . ask any questions you may have.  The info/advice you receive here comes from folks who truly know your pain.

Check out the threads on Vitamin D3, calcium and fish oil; melatonin and energy drinks. And more info including if you have a diagnosis from a headache specialist or a gp or what. Whether or not this is a disbility depends I think on the degree of disruption unmitigated and constant attacks brings into your life. As a chronic I was getting hit every hour on the hour all day every day for 3 years after being episodic for 30 years. Then came O2 and energy drinks!  Blessings. lance
