Those narcs are a nowhere road. They're a road. That lead nowhere.

Is this the first time you've had a headache that only lasted 5 mins. or do they all last this short a time?

Besides what Brew and Potter said Percoset, as well as all the pother narcs out there WILL, and DO cause rebound headaches, and those are most usually much worse.   Stay away from them all together.

I recently had the h/a return after being gone a little over a year.I was on percocet for the last couple of months during the last cycle and they seemed to work.So I went back on them this time around right away.At first they seemed to help but after a week or so I noticed they didnt really do much.Maybe it was all in my head. All percocet does now is make me sluggish.Dont think Ill have it refilled.

The only reason Percocet seemed to work is that you were tapering down at the end of your cycle and then you were tapering up at the beginning of your cycle.  I can speak from experience on Percocet:  Fire your Dr, get off the Percocet before you are hooked, and find a new Dr that knows diddly about CH.  Been there, done that, and don't want anyone else to need the t-shirt.

Do some serious reading here.  Ask questions and learn.  You can deal with CH.

Read the Oxygen Info button in yellow on the left of the screen and get O2.  By far the best abortive for most of us.  It is not highly addictive, although you can't live without it, Cheesy it doesn't cause rebounds, it has no bad side effects, and it is relatively inexpensive.  go to the CH.com store, also in yellow on your left and order the O2ptimask.  By far it is the best mask out there.
