Welcome to the board. We do have several moms on this board who went thru pregnancy with CH. Hopefully they'll chime in soon. I'll wait for the experts to answer up, but I am pretty sure oxygen is okay as an abortive during pregnancy?  Bob???

Yes...please do keep using the 02 Maya.  It won't hurt your baby and is probably the only treatment you CAN use while pregnant.

Welcome to the board, by the way.  Your English is just fine.  I understood everything you said.   Smiley

Hello Maya and welcome to ch.com!

You will get different responses as to CH's during pregnancy, but I believe the majority (someone will correct me if I'm wrong), have the CH's go away while pregnant.  BUT, there are others who still have them while pregnant too, so it really all depends on the person.

I will say one thing though, do not put of your dreams aside of having children due to CH!  Like Linda said, you can use the O2 to abort attacks during your pregnancy if you have them.  There are women here who have done it and you can too!

Hugs to you,
Smileymel

P.S. I was one who did not have ch while pregnant with all 3 of my children.

Hi Maya,

Welcome!   I've had CH for 30 years and, like Melissa, my pregnancies were also CH free.   I hope yours is too but, if not, you do have 02 to help you through it.

PF wishes,

Jeannie

Welcome Maya. You'll find lots of good stuff here.

I'm one of those who have noticed that sometimes pregnacy, trauma and perhaps other major events can affect CH in a good way. I'm not sure why but there is some evidence for it.

Good luck and tell us more.

Welcome Maya,

Some of our English is not very good either, and we grew up with it.  Don't let that bother you.  I'm glad you found us.

If pregnancy would stop CH I"d find a way to get pregnant!!! Cheesy  Definitely don't stop with the O2.  You might want to try to increase the flow rate if you do anything.  I don't know how much you are using or how, but many of us have found flow rates of 25 liters per minute or greater works better and faster than lower rates.  I'm thinking that you might need more of the abortive since you are unable to use the preventatives.
