Really?!
Sep 8th, 2011 at 10:46pm

So with a nice set of fall activities planned and some exciting work opportunities coming in last night i feel the beasty coming. I caught it after rummaging through my stuff to find pills, a tank(no regulator  Undecided)and some energy drinks. Now it is time to be realistic(i guess) and start checking off the things that will not be feasible under the new(super lame) program. Not new here but was able to skip a few episodes and my email had changed. There is my vent and now time to settle in and get this thing done!

Scared to sleep in case the shadowing flares to something more. Second night scrolling through the boards. How long can one go without sleep?

Longer than you want, that's for sure. Get your gear in order and line up your front line abortives. Sorry for the rude reminder that the beast hasn't left home but do what you need to do to be ready. How'd you lose a regulator? Blessings. lance

33 years of the beasty coming and going...and that first set of shadows STILL buckles my knees and starts that panic in my mind. Undecided

Keep your powder dry, get your prescriptions filled, and get ready to rock and roll. If you have not tried the melatonin yet, many are finding they can skip the night time "wake up" hits by taking it about 30 minutes before bed time. Start with 9 mg, may have to adjust up, give it a few days to see if it helps.

Sorry he's back, welcome to the board.

Joe

buhrly  sorry to hear the beasty is back , he seems to have a total disregard for anything we plan.

beat him down with whatever you can and show him who's boss and go right ahead with your plans any way.

Ok easier said than done I know but you can't let him take over.

Good luck and God bless

Nigel

Thanks for the replies. I have made it over to the boat to retrieve the regulator and other tank. The weather is cooler here which is nice. I seem to be sensitive to the heat  Embarrassed.
Thanks for the reminder Guiseppi on the melatonin. Got some sleep  Smiley yay! That stuff is pretty amazing. I have gotten started on the Predisone, Depacote, and Verapimil.
In my almost 15 years of episodes i am always amazed when in cycle of our chronic brothers and sisters. The courage and perseverance they show is unparalleled. I am praying for you and keep up the fight.

Buhrly,

You may want to consider giving the anti-inflammatory regimen a try for two to three weeks.  You might find that it will prevent your pending cluster headache cycle.

See the thread titled: "123 Days PF And I Think I know Why" at the following link to see how it's worked for other CH'ers:

Take care,

You love lots of things if you live around them. But there isn't any woman and there isn't any horse, that’s as lovely as a great airplane. If it's a beautiful fighter, your heart will be ever there
