hi my name is joe and ive been getting CH for about 10 years now. im in cycle september and october and then again march and april. ive been on verapimil which doesnt really work to well for me it did the first cycle i took them but havent really worked since. ive used the imitrex injections which worked well but would get rebounds with them. i do not have health insurance anymore so ive been just drinking a lot of water and using ice in my cycles for the last few years. i wish i had some shots!!!!! for the first 5 years i had no idea what i had so ive been used to having no meds in the past but would really like to try oxygen. i just joined the site to talk to people who understand thanks for listening

Hi Yankee002 and Welcome!

See if you can get some welders O2 to use.  It works the same as medical grade O2.  You can order a Mask from the CH.com store and buy a regulator online.

Glad you found us and Good Luck!

Welcome and sorry for your pain,

You've come to the right place , great deal of experience and information here. On the left side of this page, is a sidebar with Oxygen info highlighted in yellow. Click on it and read the information.

Oxygen has been my go to abortive for many years and I can stop a HA in mins. It actually works quicker than Imitrex, is is much cheaper, per use.

All the best,

Hey Joe, thanks for posting again. There are a number of things you can try for OTC interventions. Search the site for posts on melatonin, vitamin D3, energy drinks, kudzu, etc. Some have also found running or exercise helps...not me, but some. It's difficult when you can't get to a doc cuz of the cost, but you're not helpless. Research here and ask questions. Blessings. lance
