Is this normal ?
Sep 18th, 2011 at 12:07pm

I am an episodic CH since more than 20 years , this year it started around the 10th of june in the begining of a short break after couple of wine glasses  Angry
It increased since then reaching 3 to 4 attacks / day , i took a cycle of pridnosolone and i reached up to 400 mg Verapamil / day . Two weeks ago '' begining of September " the number of attacks started to decrease , i even had one week PF , then suddenly today , i had 3 attacks in the same day , this never happened to me before .
Is this a relapse ? or the beast does that somtimes at the end of the cycle .. it has been almost 13 weeks now !!! Smiley

The most important way to tolerate and be able to survive with this beast is to have a supportive , loving and understanding wife like you Izzy ... I am lucky and i adore you  Kiss

The answer is yes, no maybe. Undecided

The nature of the beast is to constantly morph. Just when you get used to how a cycle runs, it will radically change. My cycles tend to fade in, then fade out. Others have a grand finale of high level hits, that signal the cycle is finally coming to an end. I'm hoping that's what's happening to you.

Sadly, it's just as possible the cycle is ramping up again. Hope for the best, but make sure your stocked up on meds. Sending pain free wishes your way.

Joe

"Somebody had to say it" is usually a piss poor excuse to be mean.

Thank you Joe for your reply and concern , i know that this beast is unpredictable and has no fixed pattern but out of  frustration you feel lost .
We are all desperate to hear something to support and might comfort us when we feel down and that what we do with each other here .
Take care and i wish PF for all of us .
