PF Shot time now
Sep 19th, 2011 at 1:05am

Oh my god so finally in the last 2 and 1/2 months I've got some PF time.  Last friday at 11am my usual attack time I got my worst attack to date.  It was like a 9 pulsing to a 10 every 5 seconds or so and it lasted for almost 2 hours.  My attacks usually last about 1/2 hour so this one really had me floored!!! Cry

Anyways since that attack I've been pretty much PF Cool  I made it through the rest of fri and I always get an attack around 5 or 6pm. no attack!  Went to sleep that night expeting to wake up at 2am on the dot with an attack as usual but instead woke up at 8:50 the time I usually wake up for my next attack, huh, no attack that time either, awesome.  So its Saturday morning I didnt get my 9am attack and its approaching 11am okay here it comes i'm thinkin' but no, no attack again.  Man I must just be luckin out.  So I end up makin it through the whole day no attacks and feeling great.  Go to sleep that night and awesome wake up the next morning, made it through another night.  2 nights in a row is unheard of!!!  So now its Sunday and I still dont get my 9am or 11am attacks and I'm feelin pretty awesome.  Its 2pm and I start to feel one come on but it never really gets anywhere it hurts very very little, more annoying I would say, making me restless.  it goes away 1/2 hour as they usually do awesome I thought.  Again I make it through the whole day again no attacks.  So 1 minor attack since Friday afternoon!!!  Man that feels great!!!

Side note I've been taking Topamax for 3 weeks now and Verapamil for 4 days.  Maybe the Topamax is starting to work?  Also my cycle usually goes from the beginning of July through mid September which is NOW.  Honestly I am kinda hoping its the medication doing the trick that way when I get these again I know what will possible help me.

Alright gimme your insight people, help me out Cheesy Grin

Great news on the homefront there. As to whether or not it is the meds or if your cycle is coming to an end, who knows? Give it some time though before you start backing down on the Rxs, two to four weeks. If you're still pf, then regardless of why (meds or cycle) you can discuss backing off with your doc. If they come back, then you have some indication the meds are controlling the beast and you need to go back up. If not, then enjoy the pf time, and be ready when the next cycle comes. Blessings. lance
