It looks pretty awesome. I really like that it has a color screen and you can surf the web on it and watch TV or movies or play games. It can hold 6000 books vs. 3500 and the screen is also a little bigger. It's also a little heavier than the Kindle I have now.

I can surf the web on the Kindle I have now, but the quality of surfing is terrible. If I'm away from the computer I use my phone to surf vs. the Kindle I have now.

One of the most favorite things about my Kindle is the no-glare screen and I don't think that will be an option with the Fire, but that's not the end of the world.

I want one, I want one bad!!!

I have two Kindles and love them both (gave the first one to Caleb). It goes everywhere with me, but I use it to read only. I'm really not into all this surfing stuff, so I'm content just to buy books and read. Sorry.... guess I'm just gettin' old.

ipad2 fan here... wouldn't trade it for anything... an amazing little piece of technology...

I am not familiar with the Kindles, I can get books from kindle and ibook on the ipad2.

Listen to me... I sound like I know what I'm talkin' about... Wink

... My names Baer, and I am technologically challenged... I do however like the ipad2 immensely.
