Amounts of Cluster research vs. Tourett's research
Oct 17th, 2011 at 1:32pm

A cluster sufferer of 40 years, I find it interesting but sad that an estimated 200,000 Americans suffer from Tourette's syndrome, for which there is extensive, funded, ongoing government research-- while an estimated 1 million Americans suffer from cluster, for which there is little to no ongoing government research.

When will we gather our strength and mobilize to get the cluster research that is needed?

Can you produce a link to that effect so I (we) can read that?

We here,  have always known that research and funding for CH will never take a high priority with scientists because of it's rarity and the absence of money for them to make on it.   I don't know a lot about Tourettes sydrome so I would really like to read that ongoing Gov. research and funding for it.

Hi, Linda--I don't have the link handy, but if you Google Tourette's Syndrome, you'll get the info with no problem--    Writer

I googled Tourettes' syndrome and the only thing I found was an $800,000.00 grant awarded in 2010.
