they're back !! -After 7 years free I'm 2 weeks in

Hi All,

Last cycle I signed up with the same or similar handle. Anyway....

What happened to Generics - Imitrex  C0-pay used to be 8$ for the non-generic per refill and I was able to bundle 6m 2 dose Boxes.

My Wife picked up the script today and paid a 150$ copay under BC&BS?? That s**ks. Add 360 Veraparmil daily _ a medrol dose pack.

My Neurologist would not prescribe anything until he saw me and oh that will be 10 days after I called him. He got pissed at me for taking 7 year old scripts but I doubht he gets clusters.

4 hard knocks last night - got to look into the O2.  Last time the flow rate and mask were all wrong.

I also just dragged out a florescent fixture with 2 full spectrum bulbs - Have not seem much about that approach.

Anyone have a Neuro recommendation in Mass that specializes in cluster?

More later -

Steve

How long ago was that?  Times they are a-changing for sure.  Imitrex is NOT cheap...if it ever was even with Ins.  Even 7 yrs. ago it was almost over the top.

You have one post.  Have you read around here at all?  You will find a wealth of information and support here but you really need to start reading.  Start with the links to the left of here.  Read all about oxygen.  Take the quiz. Go on to the different forums here and read what strikes you as important.   When you're done with that read some more.  Wink

We're here to support you as well as answer questions....but first you should familiarize yourself with everything here.  In the times when your NOT getting hit of course.

I hear Loder is good, and I think she's part of the John Graham headache clinic there at Faulkner. I see Dr Paul Rizzoli, the clinic head. They're all connected to the Harvard Medical School. I found their understanding and openness to just about anything I needed, and their knowledge of CHs, to be quite refreshing. Still, it would help if you went in with a list of meds you have and have not tried, along with a plea for O2, and the effects of the past interventions. The more you self promote for help, the better. Good luck, let us know how you do, and God bless. lance
