The "Emperor of All Maladies"....
Nov 8th, 2011 at 9:10pm

...no, not ch...it's a book...a book about cancer...by Siddhartha Mukherjee...

A couple years ago I faced this "malady" and asked for help. I GOT it..in spades...and I am eternally grateful for this family....it just don't matter what "maladies" we all face...it's TOGETHER! I couldn't have made it so far without y'all....and the battle goes on.....

Recently, I have decided that I don't need to "share" so much in this battle...and that has aggravated a few...I'm sorry...it's just me and I can't help it...

THIS book has sucked my breath and made me cry more than a few times. I'm sure most all here have been touched, somehow, someway, by the big "C"...if so, you need to read this remarkable book...

I don't do this type of thing often...this one is too important not to share...

Best,

Jon

I'll be requesting it from my library tonight.

The reason we are aggravated is because we care about you!  Be well, my friend.

Pardon the lack of detail..a title is kind of ephemeral.

The book is a 2011 Pulitzer Prize winner..by an oncologist/medical historian. It's a history and overview we've never heard...poetically told....the triumphs and the tragedies...and the ongoing fight.

Best,

Jon
