Sounds like Alka-Seltzer
Nov 15th, 2011 at 8:58pm

I posted this 8 years ago that I just found from the archives section and....

Has anybody experienced a very subtle sound in their head prior to and during a CH?  I hear several little "snap, crackle and pops" like Alka-Seltzer.  could this be a nerve, gland, etc?  No jokes here, sincerely serious about this.

OK...I thought I was weird remembering the same thing...but not everytime.

Mine usually happens towards the end of a hit. I was thinking it was some kind of decompression ...though I shudder at the thought. I have gotten it a few times during the ramp-up as well.

I have mentioned it to a couple neuro's in the past...usually followed up by a quizzical look and then marching orders to the nearest hospital for a scan of some type. Nothing but grey matter in there everytime, though I'm sure the people that know me personally would argue that...

i have experienced something like that a few times when i abort with trex.  its similar to the sound of cracking your knuckles underwater.  my guess is it is tissue moving around as the blood vessels in my head start to shrink back to their normal size.

I also used to hear that little fizzle snap pop right when the trex would take hold of the pain.  It however went away after that bout and now I no longer hear it.

I am getting crushed by the beast this time around and am going through trex like never before.  But no sound any longer.

That trex is some strange stuff but I would be dead without it.
