Hey, all...it's been a while...my question after the 2nd line, but, please read between the lines as well
----------------------------------------- Before I start my thread proper, my CSS code-learning is coming on nicely, I started making a skin for here as white sheet backgrounds don't like my eyes, whether I'm 'in season' or not...
I hope to finally get a blue themed skin for here soon...once that's done, I may well make more, so, if you're using Firefox and some colour combinations work best for you, PM me, and I'll see what I can do....I have a very busy life, so, please expect me to take a little while...you'll need the Firefox add-on, Stylish (Google "firefox stylish" and it should take you straight to it). The add-on is completely free, as are my skins...my way of giving a little back... ----------------------------------------- Anyway, my question...can a trigger start a cluster?
My only real known trigger is chocolate, which I absolutely MISS, but, avoid completely. Red wine can also be a trigger for me, but, there are plenty of drinks that aren't...
Anyway, my summer bout usually starts early July...although June 21st last year. I had a week of anogy beore the Verapamil kicked in.
So, yesterday, a friend took me out for ice cream. (I know I'm fine with ice cream). I had a rasberry crunch sundae.
Raberries and a nut topping...I thoroughly enjoyed it. I did experience a little pain...I ate a little fast, and not only have I got sensitive teeth, but, am missing a filling right at the side.
Then, I felt the beast. Not an attack (well, maybe a kip 1 or at very most, 2), but, heavy shadows.
While it made me wince, not in any real pain, but, from where it was coming from on my head, I knew what it was. I have grown to recognise where it attacks even in shadows and I'm sure that many of you will agree, even shadows have the unmistakable signature of the beast which distinguishes a CH or even shadows from other types of headache....
Anyway, I got home, and went to bed for a few hours...this morning, I was fine.
I thought nothing of it until about half an hour ago, when I got shadows...but, not a CH attack.
So, two questions....firstly, are rasberries at all known as a trigger? The only ingredient I don't know I'm fine with....
Also, can a sensive pain/missing filling/cold combination trigger the beast? (When I'm being attacked by the beast, heat helps, cold makes it worse).
My second question is....can a trigger actually trigger a cluster rather just one episode?
I'm thinkig of phoning my GP in the morning to get my ECG early. Am I panicking?
