Has anyone has THIS problem..
Dec 17th, 2012 at 10:26am

I'm having trouble with my "glasses" triggering a headache. The earpiece hits on a spot that begins a darn CH.. And I can't see without the glasses.

Have never worn contacts and have two different sets of glasses.. one to read and one for the computer (for some reason they just can't manage to get one pair that does both).. This is getting to be a BIG problem..

Does anyone else have this happen? Kiss

Barbara, as you know everybody has their own unique triggers, maybe this is just one of yours.

I personally could never use contacts or contact solution when in cycle.

Maybe you could attach cotton or something soft on the arm/earpiece of your glasses so it is not such a hard feeling on your sensitive areas causing it to be a trigger?  Might be a stupid idea, but it's all I could think of to be helpful...good luck Wink

LMAO! Its glad to get a snicker from CH's, but guys let's try to stick to her genuine problem. *giggles*  Do all of your frames trigger them? I don't wear glasses or contacts, so I really can't relate to your problem. I am however, trying to think outside of the box. Do you wear your hair differently when you wear your glasses? (Pull your hair up for work?) Sorry, I'm being useless here, just trying to think of variables. Really, I suppose you'd have to be the one to figure that out. I hope its not your glasses! But for me I'd rather have blurry vision or wear a "Monopoly Man" eyepiece! (Sorry couldn't resist)

I just got a pair - lightest, most comfortable glasses I've ever had. No hinges either.

For some of us it's more a matter of not being legally blind. Cheesy

told my neuro about it and he said his wife has the same problem with hers and her migraines, so maybe it's not that unusual.

He said just change glasses when it starts to hurt.. He wasn't much help either.. He said the earpieces just hit on the trigeminal nerve and walla.. pain..

Oh well... first the barometer.. now he glasses... I just can win for loosing these days.. I think Brian has the right idea... go for the cans...  Kiss

Hey Barbara, all I can say is YES! My glasses can be a problem. My solution is to take them off when I don't need them. I wear them mostly for reading/closeup work, with a mild Rx for distance, so I can get away with it. But yes, I do need relief from the temple pressure. blessings, and thanks for bringing this up. lance
