Best place to buy a demand valve?
Jan 19th, 2013 at 7:42pm

I'm looking to get a demand valve setup because my tanks go way too fast when I'm in peak cycle.  Can someone point me to the best place to buy one?

Did a Google search and the best price I could find is $285 for a 120 lpm valve and 6' hose on this page.

That's a reasonable price. I noticed you need to order the mask seperate, $42. They don't show the mouthpiece, many on the site use a mouthpiece, I like a good mask.

My unit is a Carnet from Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register. A top of the line unit but a bit pricey, $560 with a $32 mask, it comes with a mouthpiece. Lifegas requires a prescription. The place you listed may not.

I assure you, what you spend will be well worth it. I've been using a demand valve since "08 and my results still amaze me. Abort's of 3-5 min.

I have both the mask and mouthpiece from the O2ptimask.  Those should work right?

Not sure if you have this covered. You will need a regulator(s) with a DISS fitting, these can be found sometimes on Ebay. I ordered mine from Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register, no Rx required, USA made I paid $167.

Maybe look at Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register, I bought just a regulator there for $37 it was listed on ebay. ??

I have the Harbor Freight welding regulator.  Saw in another thread that it would work with the demand valve.

Sounds like you're ready. I also have the Opti and still use it, but the demand is the next step. I actually want to get a second demand, for my portable.
