I just came out of a cycle and need to know how to dispose of the injections in a safe and proper way.

Go to Walgreens, CVS, or Walmart and get yourself a sharps disposal container. When it's full, take it to just about any pharmacy or health clinic and ask them if they participate in a sharps disposal program. You may have to pay a nominal fee to dispose of your used sharps.

I actually have a few of the boxes of them left, and after posting I called the pharmacy and learned that they will take them to dispose of them for me. But thank you for your replies.

If, in fact you are talking about UN-USED vials and syringes then I have to ask the question as to why you'd want to dispose of them???  Save them for your next cycle and stockpile like Don has said.

Yeah... store them up.
I use Trex that has been 'expired' for 5+ years.  I store mine in a basement storage room with a consistent year-round temp in the 60's.

Save
the damned things.

I don't take that stuff but I have quite a collection of unused pills and whatnot. It comes in handy now and then. Very few drugs expire. It's the liability insurance coverage that evil drug companies have that "expires." It's always money.

Maybe I will just keep them didn't want to use expired meds though. But I actually have a really nice neurologist who already made me an appointment for around the time they would start up again if they follow the same pattern, and told me that even if they hadn't started up he would give me all the scripts I need so I have it on hand if they do. What a change over my last neurologist who wouldn't even call them cluster headaches and I suffered through 3 months with nothing to help them no meds at all to cope. Finding the right doctor is the best medicine ever. Thanks for the info though I was under the impression that after a year they are no good.

What Bob P said!  There are people who have difficulty getting the stuff who would be more than happy to help you store it.
