Has anyone ever had an E tank filled with welder's 02.
Wondering if they would do it.

Thanks...

I think you could do yourself if you had what they call a pigtail:

No reputable O2 supplier would do it due to liability.  Linde has a setup for transfilling from large tanks to small ones, but it is rather pricey.

Jackie,

Before I started the anti-inflammatory regimen, I refilled my M60 from a welder's M-size cylinder all the time...  The aluminum M60 has a CGA-540 fitting and is only slightly heavier than an E-size cylinder.  It holds enough oxygen for 10 to 15 aborts...  The E is only good for 3.

Given obamacare will likely refuse coverage for oxygen therapy to treat cluster headache, welder's O2 and a pigtail look like a great idea.

Take care,

V/R, Batch
