information for a student

Hello all

My name is Megan and I have recently got a job in the headache clinic at my local hospital

I am keen to understand as much as i can about cluster headaches and hope that some of you may give me some of your personal experiences in order that i can be more effective in this area. I want this to be my specialist area of expertise.

I would like as many individual experiences as i can covering the following if possible
1. how your heaches started - ie was there any other head trauma or blood clot or anything or did they just start out of the blue
2. what time you have your first headache each day
3. are the headaches most likely at night
4. how many you have per night (or day if applicable)
5. what interval is there between each headache during the attack
6. how you feel when its going on
7. has it stopped anyone from working
8. how on earth do you cope when you have been up all night in pain
If anyone had a heachache diary/log i would love to see these too

I am trying to understand more clearly what happens individually and hope that by having as many responses as i can that i will be more effective in helping diagnosis in patients

Please do message me!

Any information you provide will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Thank you very much for your time

Done! I'd strongly encourage everyone to take a minute and contribute to this. THIS is how we get the word out. Many thanks to you for taking an active interest in CH.
