I love "Whatever Happens"

Currys have excelled themselves again!  Bought our son a new 22" flat screen for his birthday last year.  2 months ago he dropped my apple laptop, (no insurance!) and broke the screen.  Yesterday, when he was cleaning his room!!!!, Shocked a 17yr old doing this, I know, shocking!, he accidentally hit the screen of his tv with hoover hose. Another broken screen.  Fortunately, we paid £27 pounds 3 years ago for instant replacement, so we could walk into the store with broken tv and come out with brand new one!  As a deal for us, Currys also replaced the cover for another 3 years for just £20 pounds.  How cool is that!   Grin Grin Grin

I got a text message to say my monthly pre-paid mobile account expired in 4 days. No worries, got a new $30 voucher and tried to put it in 3 days later to find I'd already been chopped and had lost my $500 cash credit.

Contacted the company who apologised and re-instated my credit as though I'd just made seventeen $30 payments which left everything sweet and even a tiny surplus.

The better bit was it meant I also got all my bonuses another 13 times in one hit giving something like $3,900 worth of free calls, 12gigs in free data, and thousands upon thousands of free texts, all to use within a month.

It also left my new pre-paid voucher sitting happily in my pocket.

Now if you could only convert some of those calls and free data into beer!
