interaction of verapamil and relpax
Feb 19th, 2013 at 7:31pm

Has anyone taken Verapamil AND Relpax in a 24 hour period, every day, for an extended length of time? I have been taking them for about 3 months now and feel really sick, can't eat, and my chronic headaches are worse, (I have been a chronic for about 15 years now). I have tried it all, lithium, O2, etc. to no avail. Now for the last couple of weeks, even the Relpax is not working. I am wondering if the Relpax and Verap. is not a good combo. since it is recommended that the 2 not be taken at the same time.
In addition, anyone know of any specialists in the Balt.-Washington area who deals with this?  Thank you.
I hope this does not sound too discombobulated, but I am in the midst of a killer attack, 4 hours now.  Any suggestions welcome.   Seniorsub Embarrassed

I can't answer the med question but have a couple of suggestions. This is the newest and greatest for CH. Over 81% of those who try it are experiencing great results:

Follow this link  to the medications section of this board and read the post  Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

It’s a vitamin/mineral/fish oil supplement, all over the counter stuff,  it’s healthy for you even without CH! It's had me off cycle coming up on 3 years.

Do you use oxygen yet as an abortive? Kills my agttacks in about 6-8 minutes. Here's a link to show ya how:

This link will show you how to get set up with welding oxygen:

I take both verapamil every day and either a triptan or an ergotamine from time to time. You ought not mix the two on a daily basis, but I am confused. Are you taking relpax as an abortive or as a preventative? Its best use is an abortive when O2 won't kill the hit. Not as a daily preventative. Have you tried O2? blessings. lance
