I am new to the site but not new to the devil headache. I had them from age 19 to 38 every year. They would occur two years in a row at the same time of the year and them move forward four months for two years. They did this for years and then stopped seven years ago. Ten days ago it was my 45th birthday, my present was a visit from the headache from hell. Two to three attacks a day. The Imitrex 20mg nasel spray helps if I act fast.Cold fresh air helps, thank God I live in Canada.

Good that you've the nasal spray to abort CHs. Have you also got oxygen which is also amazing at killing off CHs?

Have you anything to prevent CHs, like verapamil or lithium?
