sharing a GGRRRRR moment!
Mar 11th, 2013 at 8:11am

well i started to feel unwell last week (snotty nose, sore throat etc)... eventually saturday night i felt so unwell i rang the out of hours doc who wanted me to go to the surgery at 8.45 pm.. all well and good!  At 8.30.. BAM!!! for the first time in over 6 years i get hit with a cluster... off the scale wasn't the word for it.. it blew the kip scale away!!  My partner of 3 years was about and really didn't understand why i was in the middle of the back garden on my knees in the pouring rain screaming and banging my head..... so he called an ambulance Undecided..... of course 20 mins later when the paramedic turns up it's just about draining from me.  Well Mr paramedic turns really assy and starts accusing me of calling an ambulance instead of going to the docs... i tried my hardest to explain what the ordeal i'd just been through was but of course anyone who dosen't know what cluster headaches are just hears the word headache!.. i was sooo ggrrrr.....(oh and never forget to explain to partners about conditions!..oopps!)

Welcome aboard and we understand completely. This is a true horror and trying to explain just what it is to others can be nearly as nasty getting hit.

Grrrrrrrrrrr about sums it up. Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

Lots and lots of steroids will compromise your immune system, so not surprising you've been sick.

Cathlane,

Welcome back.  Wish you weren't here! Wink

You've been gone some time, so you have a lot of catching up to do!  I especially suggest you go to the Meds and Treatments section and read the 123 Days PF thread.  It is only 54 pages long, so I think you will find it.  Well worth you while reading and trying.  A lot of people have been able to achieve PF status with it, and without having to do the pharma route.

Don't know what your status is on O2, but there is a lot of great info in the "oxygen info" button in yellow on the left side of the screen.  The only change I would make in it is to bump the flow rate to at least 25 lpm.  If you have trouble getting that high a flow rate, get what you can and we can help you get around it with what you have.  Just ask.

There may be other things that have happened while you were gone.  Please ask for help.  That is why we are hear.  Now that you are back we want you out of here as soon as possible!   Cheesy  Actually, we don't.  We just want you PF so that you can help others achieve the same thing.

All the best,

Jerry

This link will show you how to get set up with welding oxygen:

Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

It's exactly the same stuff as the medical 02, but much cheaper. Welding 02 has to be free from any imputities or welds fail and planes fall from the sky. Wink Many on the board have been using it for years.
