Hey everyone

Name's Dan, I only have a minute now but wanted to introduce myself. I'm sure I'll divulge more in the near future.
I've been having daily ch for almost 2 months now, sometimes more than 1 a day. Since I was around 20 I've had ch episodes for 2-3 weeks every 3-5 years. I'm now 49 and these last 8 weeks have been brutal. I've heard that by the age of 50 many people stop having them. I'm hoping that this is the big shabang before the end of them. In the past the ch came around the same time each day and were of equal intensity. This time they are all over the map in time, intensity and duration.
I'm thankful for this site and will be checking in daily for sure. God Bless all of you guys, my prayers have been with ALL of you........................Good to be here!

Dan

Oh, in case you did'nt notice my user name is (Headaches Suck!!!!!)

Welcome to the board. The age thing...maybe they'll stop...maybe not! Cheesy

We have folks on the board who had CH for decades then suddenly in their 50's or 60's, they just stopped. We have people in their 70's still getting hit. ONe more mystery about the beast!

Follow this link to the medications section of this board and read the post

It’s a vitamin/mineral/fish oil supplement, all over the counter stuff. It’s up to an 81% success rate of those who try it and respond to the survey so you’re just shooting yourself in the foot if you don’t give it a shot. I’m 3 years pain free on it after a 30 plus year track record with episodic CH. Best of all, it’s healthy for you even without CH! It's the newest latest and greatest, certainly worth a shot.

"Somebody had to say it" is usually a piss poor excuse to be mean.

What Joe said! I'm 61, have had these since I was 35 and the hits just keep on comin'! Not to discourage you, though. The CHs can generally be managed even if we can't say they will be cured. Maybe someday, sigh. For now, tell us who diagnosed you, what you are prescribed and what you've tried. Maybe we can help fine tune things a bit. God bless. lance
