A little recognition!

There is a neat little mention of CH's on the discovery news site today, i can't post links yet or i would. Not much to it, but it's still nice to see something written about it. Maybe someday it will get noticed.

Hi Jonathan,

The only thing I could find on Discovery News was the article about sex helping with migraine.  That has been around a few times over the last few years, but the consensus for the most part is that if it works for you, great, but for most of us it isn't helpful.

Good job digging it up, though!  I'm not being critical at all.  I'm glad to have you aboard, but sure wish you didn't need to be here!  Keep digging, and here's wishing you PFDAN's.

Jerry

Hey Jerry,

It was actually just a little slide show called "Top 7 Most Painful Conditions" it's under the Health section. Yesterday or the day before there was a link on the front page, but they've buried it now. Anyway! Thanks for the well wishes, right back at ya.

Hi Jonathan, thanks for that info. read the article. indeed I have yet to find a person outside of this site that knows or even heard of CH, except for my neurologist whose knowledge on CH is limited, and my doctor who came across it for the first time with me  Sad
And OMG the descriptions of the pain are horrific, i never had a gunshot wound, a burnt hand, head injuries and never gave birth ( i don't think i ever will neither  Grin). One thing i do know for sure though is that the pain is unbearable.
Isn't it incredible that zero $, £ or euro is spent on research!!!

Thanks.  I didn't find that.  Another Neurological organization listed CH at 1 in the top 10.  Personally, I don't care for any of them, and I really am not interested in "Mine is worse than yours".  That being said, I'm really glad Discovery is publicizing CH and will give us that much more recognition.

Thanks for the find!

Jerry
