Thanks Joe.  It's been a while since one got bad enough to bring me to tears.  I try really hard not to cry.  It makes me feel defeated when I do.

There is not one person with ch that has not, nor does not get to that point. The tears, I mean.  I skateboard with my 12 year old daughter, and, in march I tore my acl completely. Not a wimper. Last night I felt like I was an out off control toddler crying in the shower. I felt ashamed of myself at the same time. The beast hits us at all fronts. Don't let him keep you down. You are stronger than he. Pain free wishes.

If they didn't bring us to tears, we'd be calling it the frigger instead of The Beast.
The tears I don't mind so much, its when the scissors start looking good that I get scared.

The tears I remember the most are the ones I shed when my wife found this site for me, after 13 months mis-diagmosis, non-working meds, having 6-8 attacks daily, sometimes 3-5 at night . . . and then to find a whole family that truly umderstood not only the pain, but had suggestions on how to manage and live with this beast of ours.

  Bawled like a baby . . . I was no longer alone.

I can live with the beast as long as I don't have to "dance" with the bastard.

I agree with Richard - I'm glad I found this site so early.  I'm in my first cluster and I feel this site and the advice I've gotten has saved me a lot of suffering and frustration
