Looking for O2 cylinder/tank to borrow or purchase
May 31st, 2013 at 2:12pm

Hello,

Does anyone living in or near Chicago area have an unused O2 cylinder that I can borrow or purchase?  Maybe you are out of your CH cycle and don't need the cylinder at the moment.

I plan on buying one for permanent use but I'd like to start O2 asap as I got the prescription today. Borrowing the tank would be the best option (I'll get the rest of the equipment myself) as I'd like to try the therapy out before I commit to a big purchase.  I'm also willing to buy one.  I've checked craigslist but there no o2 cylinders for sale in the area.

Thanks for understanding and help. I don't have insurance coverage  Sad  Please send me a personal message, if you can help.

Somewhere here, probably the oxygen info tab on the left) there is info on getting your own bottles from welders supply places. I have a tank that I bought for around $100. that is mine forever and refills are only about $20. It's a big tank. You can also lease tanks from these places, pretty cheap.

Thank you for sharing the link.

Thank you all who sent me PMs too. I really appreciate it the support.  It looks like getting the O2 system won't be urgent for me anymore. I might be out of my cycle. Day 5 CH free, just some painful sensations and random minor hits but not CHs.

Thank you all again!!! Smiley
