Just trying to see how many have the same symptoms

Getting an idea of what is similar among us will help to see if they are all the same or caused by something different.

Kevin,

I read that your CH were caused by clots, correct?

How did you find out about that?

Its and intersting story. I suffered for a long time. Did a lot of soul searching and whatnot. But I eventually started praticing some techniques that help to focus the mind and get it in tune with the body. Not that I believed in meditation but I do believe the mind controls healing, thats why placebos work. So i focused on the pain, and that diddn't help. So that lead me to believe the pain was caused by an area that was not in the area the pain was located. I felt my neck and found a knot in it right below the skull, even though my pain diddn't seem to be coming from there I tried to focus on it, it helped but the pain never truly went away. One day I was having a very severe attack and got pissed off and jammed my thumb knuckle into the knot as hard as I could, which in itself was pretty painful. I pushed so hard the knot felt like it went back into my spine and suddenly I felt relief. The relief was almost instant but a day or so later my clusters came back with a vengance and I realized the knot had gotten bigger, due to swelling I believe, but I fought through it again and kept on doing it, after about a week the headaches got better and after that went away for a year and a half.

G'day Kevin,
On my episode Spring 2012 when useing ice blocks on the back
of my neck i noticed the top part of my spine was swollen. Then
when i was pain free it was normal. You can imagine how much
ice i hit that sucker with. By doing that little thing, i got my
attacks down from the normal hour + to 15 minute's. Smiley

I think knots where mentioned here in the past. Look for "ganglion".

I think the list of symptoms should be longer. Also it might be a good idea to have a poll about other conditions people suffer from. As well as findings from lab test.

I think it was already established that most of us suffer from Vitamin D deficiency, and I remember massages and threads that mentioned low Testosterone, high triglycerides, use of SSRI (possibly low Serotonin), sinus and teeth conditions and so on.

I was thinking more along the lines of lymph nodes. But yes I wanted to make the list longer but it is at the maximum the site would allow, unless there's another way to start a poll?
