Had one hit yesterday morning and it got my computer good. So I'm on my backup one now. Have a man coming to see how much damage it did.

And the sad part was I have one of those thingy's that are suppose to keep it going if the power goes out to give you time to close it down. It's still on but it didn't work (well it worked on one, but not my MAIN one).

Just not my day at all. All my taxes and MY LIFE are on the one that went down. And of course I do not have it all backed up.. most of it , but not all. I'm really upset right now about this ...

And I dare Mr. Headache to make an appearance.. Think today I'd just have to kick his butt!

I know how you feel about the storms. This last few months we've had storm after storm. No rain, just low pressure then high pressure then repeat over and over. Also, our new home is outside the city about 1200 feet higher in elevation. Drive the five miles down to town and the shadows start. Or, drive up the hill and the shadows start. I've learned to always have 5-hour Energy drinks with me.

Oh, I really feel stupid.. My computer didn't crash.. Apparently when the power surge hit, I jumped and knocked the cord out of the computer.. Never thought to check that..

When the computer guy got here, he found that right off and I think he's still laughing at me. So I guess the thing that's supposed to protect it from power surges is working fine - as long as it's plugged in.

And Bob I don't know about elevation, but the barometer is about to do me in .. every time it changes - my head goes crazy. Think I've hit a high cycle right now. Tried one of those 5 hour energy things during an audit last week and got thru that, but got hit on the way home.

And it's supposed to rain again today - with 98 degree weather. Wonderful
