having a great summer...

We had a "cold snap" here last week - only got up to the 90's. But this week we're back in the 100's so it's hotter than hades. I'm staying inside a LOT.. my head just can't handle the heat.

I'm on the way to Houston this week to a wedding. I'm filling in for one of my dear friends (deceased) as Mother of the Bride so this should be interesting. And besides, they needed a "babysitter" so they could have a short honeymoon and who better than Granny B? But I'm looking forward to getting off the "farm" for a few days. My dogs may appreciate me when I get back.

Oh I did see something on FB that I thought was interesting about headaches. Gatorade.. it said to drink two glasses of the stuff to get rid of a headache. Next time I go to the store I'm getting a big bottle of it. Don't know if it would have an effect on CH, but it's worth a try. And the electrolytes in it can't hurt this time of year.

Anyhow, just thought I'd check in ... How's ya'll's summer going. Hope everyone had a safe and PF forth. Kiss

Not sure that Gatorade is gunna cure our headaches, Babs, but it's fair dinkum good for your other end. A bottle a day will rid you of foot cramps in the night.

I also sympathise completely about your plunging temperatures. It's mid-winter here in north Queensland and some of us are actually wearing shirts instead of singlets! What-ever happened to global warming?

Didn't know that about leg cramps. Now I'm definitely gonna try it.

Think I'll get a gallon of Gatorade.. at least I'll stay hydrated and won't have leg cramps
