I think I win the right to complain today....
Aug 21st, 2013 at 3:34pm

So on top of the ch's that I have been experiencing for a couple months now I get this-

I was heading back from Costco after getting the vitamin regimen for the ch(closest Costco is 90 miles away) and I started to feel a little pain in my left side.  Well the pain got progressively worse until we were 30 miles from the closest hospital and it hit me like a ton of bricks!  It felt like I was giving birth.

Once I made it to the hospital and after a few tests the Doctor confirmed what I already knew- kidney stones!  And my first one at that!  I have been so sick, throwing up and trying to pass this thing while trying to suck on enough oxygen to make the ch go away!  This has been the most miserable two days of my life as far as health goes.

So having said all that, I think I win   Smiley

Vitamin D 100iu

Meaning you have to take 50 of them every day?

Gotta be precise with numbers.

M...
Kidney stones are awful.. Have you tried Goldenseal Root caps with distilled water (it sometimes will dissolve them)... Take two caps about every two hours and drink the DISTILLED water - a gallon of it in 24 hours with the caps..

You can usually get the Goldenseal Caps at the grocery store in the Vit section. If not any drug store carries them.

Good luck with the stones.. I think you win this one.  Kiss

If you are on FB go to one of the CH pages and touch base with Eric Cohen.  He gets stones on a regular basis, and currently has a couple of large ones they are waiting to remove surgically.  Painful, I know!

I've not dealt with herb.com, and I'm not bad-mouthing them.  I have a Costco five miles from my house, but I get all I need from Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register .  I started using them about 7-8 yrs ago for Kudzu, and due to their exceptional service I now get all my OTC stuff from them.  Less expensive than the stores, and I don't have to make the arduous five mile trip.  Wink

Well at least you gave me a good laugh!!  Thanks for that!

I passed the stone and am now back to "just" dealing with the ch.  Problem is, the demon is much more random than in times past.  I get multiple attacks a day and all during the night and when I hit the oxygen it only helps for an hour or so then the ch comes right back.  It is the worst it's ever been and I don't know what to do now.  I am on the Vitamin regimen and I take Melatonin at night but they seem to keep coming.  Help!!

Have you had the blood test yet? What is your serum 25(OH)D level?
