This site gives me so much hope.

Hello everyone.I have been sitting back reading this website for the last 2 weeks and just trying just about everything and reading all the info I could.

Let me tell you guys about me real quick.Around Feb this year.Out the blue I started noticing these headaches.Maybe like once a week or less.About 3 weeks ago I started getting headaches daily. They got so bad I ended up quitting one of my jobs because I kept getting the head aches right around the time I would start work. When I got to my second job I would be drained, but happy the pain had eased up so I could make it threw the rest of the shift on my 2nd job.On the 16th of this month I had 6 or 7 headaches and I couldn't handle the pain.I woke up out my sleep went to the er and after test and a ct scan I was told I had Cluster Headaches.

Now this is where everything goes downhill for me.I was giving prescriptions, but was told it will be hard to work on the medicine due to the side effects. Now I have 2 kids I HAVE to work.

Since the 16th I have been to the er at least 7 times from the pain and there is NOTHING they have done to help me.Since quitting one of my jobs I lost insurance and cant see the specialists they want me to see or even get a primary care doctor.Last night I had 3 headaches the last one sent me to the er.I went to a new hospital at 3 in the morning with my eye/nose leaking was taken right in and given a iv for the pain. The pain never went away.It was less pain, but it was still there. They offered me a new drug that they claimed would help, but would for sure cause vomiting and may cause seizures.I declined.

Now I am left without insurance. no doctor. and no medicine that can help me with the pain and keep me working.I am lost.I sometimes blame my wife for not helping, but I know there is nothing she can do.I feel like im losing everything. My friends, family and my last job.I have no clue what to do anymore. This had ruined me.

If anyone could give me any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

You're not alone...  Many of us have been in your shoes...

The good news is it doesn't need to be that way.

The odds are you are likely vitamin D3 deficient an that deficiency is contributing to the frequency, severity and duration of your cluster headaches.

See the following link for details on the anti-inflammatory regimen with 10,000 IU/day vitamin D3:

Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

This method of preventing cluster headaches is 80% effective...  and very safe...  Accordingly, at 20 to 25 cents a day you'll have all you need to fend off the cluster beast and send it on the run.

Take care and please keep us posted.

V/R, Batch

You love lots of things if you live around them. But there isn't any woman and there isn't any horse, that’s as lovely as a great airplane. If it's a beautiful fighter, your heart will be ever there

Hi there, try not to despair - easy to say, I know. If you have been reading these boards you'll know that you are not alone.

I was about to tell you about Batch's vitamin D3 regime but I see he just beat me to it. I am now on day 27 of the regime and because my clusters are episodic I can't be sure if it's working or if my cycle ended, but, it ended very quickly. I started the D3 on the second day of my cycle and within a couple of days I was just having shadows. On day 6 of the regime I had one cluster followed by shadows for a few days and nothing since then. My cycles usually last from 6 to 10 weeks, so something happened, and the only thing I did different was to start the D3. It's all "over the counter" stuff and fairly inexpensive so give it a go.

Also, chug down a red bull as soon as possible when the pain starts. I believe it's the combination of caffeine and taurine that does the trick. It doesn't work for everyone but many people get relief.

We're all in the same boat, so if you want to talk, vent, rant or rave, we're here. Let us know how you get along.
Maz.
